Here's the raid report from WowWebStats for Sunday's Karazhan attempt(s). I'm not an expert, but I think my hunter did well with 0 misses. Does our tank need more +hit? I think most of the rest of us are okay, although I think maybe +spell hit on the mages? I'm a big noob when it comes to WWS. If only BRK would read the blog maybe he could tell me what I'm not seeing. :o)

Hrm. So you're saying that I need to hit more things?
Check. BOON, C'MERE!
On a serious note, since a vast majority of my damage comes from DoT's, should I invest in +hit over +dmg? Personally, I think no. This is likely different if I wasn't affliction, or if I was a casty-type. But since my dots very rarely 'miss', and are (with the exception of immolate) instant casts of small bits of mana, I'd rather them do far more damage than worry about them sticking the first cast as opposed to the second?
I'm a noob about WWS. I have NO earthly clue how it should work. Just posting as a public service announcement. Maybe you know your class better than I do (likely)
K,
The general theory is that warlocks( especially those who have at least 3 points in Supression in the affliction tree ) should focus more on Spell Damage than Spell Hit. A little bit doesn't hurt though. Making sure the time spent casting a shadow bolt isn't wasted time is a plus. The full Frozen Shadowweave Set has a nice Gem bonus for Spell Hit as it is. We don't need nearly as much as our Water Manufacturing brethren. Spell Damage >> Spell Crit Rate( Dots can't crit ) >> Spell Hit for Locks unless I've totally missed my guess. I better read up on elitist jerks though...
Sort of what I was thinking, m'self, Scott. Didn't read it anywhere, just makes common sense!
Besides, I hate having to browse through forums to find something. I'd rather just ask my Bremtanica and my Byouktionary.
